Information

Preliminary schedule

Check in

Collect your race kit at the check-in on the event area. Check-in opens at 10:00 am on Saturday. See the event area map for more information.

Say your name and start number at check-in.

Race kit

All participants should collect their race kit approximately one hour before their start. For competitive class participants, the race kit includes: 3 green wristbands, 1 orange wristband, and 1 timing chip. For Run for Fun participants, the race kit includes: 1 timing chip.

Toilets

There are toilets at the event area, and at several places along the course.

Shower & changing rooms

Showers and changing rooms are available at Lidköping Squash and Padel Center on the event area. If you wish to use the changing facilities and showers, it costs 50 SEK and can be paid via Swish on-site.

We recommend changing at home, as space in the changing room is limited.

Bag drop

In Lidköping Squash and Padel Center, adjacent to the showers and changing rooms, it's possible to drop your bag. However, we are not responsible for valuables.

Food & beverage

There will be food trucks at the event area. You will also find Pinchos, Rörstrand Museum Café, and Konditor Trulsson.

Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés in the city center, just a short walk away.

Public transport

We recommend taking the train or bus to The Obstacle Run! Since the event is held in central Lidköping, just a 5-minute walk from the bus- and train station, there are plenty of public transportation options. Visit Västtrafik to plan your journey!

Parking

There is a limited number of parking spaces near the event area. In central Lidköping, there are some parking spots available. See map over parkings here!

Medical

Medical staff are stationed along the course, primarily around the square/square bridge and at the event area. Contact the nearest official if you sustain an injury that prevents you from completing the race or if you need medical assistance.

Course marking

The course will be marked with yellow-black band, signs and arrows.

Results

The results will be published straight after the race.

Hydration stations

There will be a couple of hydration stations along the course. More information will be published later on.
Första efter ca 2.5 km (vatten och sportdryck från UMARA)
Andra efter ca 6 km (vatten och sportdryck från UMARA)
Tredje efter ca 7.5 km (vatten)

I mål kommer Vitamin Well att dela ut NOCCO på lördagen och Vitamin Well på söndagen.

Rules

We have general rules that apply to all runners. If you’re running in the competitive class, there are additional rules to consider. For those participating in Run for Fun, there are some specific rules that apply. The family run also has a few rules that are specific to that race. It's the participants responsibility to read the rules!

After crossing the finish line, you’ll have the opportunity to take great photos before leaving the finish area.

FAQ

The start lists with start times will be released a few days before the race. The first start is at 12:00 PM, with the highest-ranked women and men in the competitive class. After that, we will release the starting groups at a few-minute intervals to avoid long queues at the obstacles.

There will be a break for about 45 minutes before the first start for Run for Fun. In Run for Fun, participants generally start in the order of registration, but some adjustments will be made so that those with the same team or company name start together.

For competition class the start times are based on ranking. You find your ranking-id here! If you have never raced a sanctioned OCR-race before, you don't have a ranking-id.

After your first sanctioned OCR-race, you will be given a ranking-id, if you are a member of a team connected to the Swedish Athletics Federation.

Start and finish is at Rörstrand Center. Rörstrand Center is located in the center of Lidköping, approximately 250 meters from the square and 300 meters from the bus- and trainstation.

Collect your race kit at the check-in, at least one hour before your start.

No, every participant should collect their own race kit at the check-in.

Yes, send an email to info@theobstaclerun.se. We will try to fulfill all wishes but cannot guarantee it's possible too close to the race.

Yes, send an email with all the information required at registration, to info@theobstaclerun.se no later than two weeks before the race.

Everyone with the same team- or company name will start together. Remember to spell the name exactly the same!

If you want to add or change team-name, please send an email to info@theobstaclerun.se with information, and we will help you with the change.

The sooner you contact us for changes, the better chance that we have time to help you.

You can also use Epassi if your company is part of it. Just pay the registration fee through Epassi and send us an email afterwards with all the information required for registration.
